Paradesi 2012 songs review

Paradesi is the latest offering from the stables of director Bala’s B Studios. The project also sees Bala pairing up with music director G.V. Prakash and lyricist Vairamuthu for the first time. The movie is a period film set in pre-independence India.

Almost every song in the soundtrack this one too heavily rests upon the shoulders of the playback singers to bring the words to life and give it an emotional meaning. G.V. Prakash backs them up with a stirring string segment. There is a certain seniority in Gangai Amaren’s voice that immediately warrants for sympathy. Priya Hemesh leaves you with a gulp in your throat with her vocal interludes,, without having any actual words to express her emotions.

G.V. Prakash's core elements for the album are local percussion instruments, flute and string sections. This achieves an undistracted and uniform sound-and-feel throughout this album and it succeeds in placing the listener in the time and place of the story. The album, though clearly not intended for the masses, proves to be rich in its music, singing and lyrics.

Paradesi Audio on Nov 25th

            The soundtrack was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The audio launch and trailer release of the film will happen on November 25, 2012 in Chennai. Vairamuthu has joined hands with director Bala for the first time in this film. The visuals have been shot and music has already been composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Vairamuthu is writing the lyrics based on what has been shot and composed.

G V - A L Vijay with Nirav Shah

              Untitled A. L. Vijay Project is the upcoming Indian Tamil romantic comedy film directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Chandra Prakash Jain. The film features Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The film is scheduled to release in Summer 2013 .Samantha and Yami Gautam were initially approached for the lead female role. Later Amala Paul was selected. Vijay Yesudas was reported to be finalized for antagonist role in this film,but he denied it as rumour. 

              Sathyaraj and Nassar was also selected as a part of this film. G. V. Prakash Kumar would be the music director while Nirav Shah would be the cinematographer.The pooja of the film was held in Chennai on November 16, 2012.The first schedule will begin in Mumbai from November 23, 2012.A major portion of the film will be shot in Spain.G. V. Prakash Kumar is composing the soundtrack, teaming with A. L. Vijay for the fifth time. He has already composed two songs for the film, featuring lyrics written by Na. Muthukumar.ar.
