GV Prakash to marry singer Saindhavi

          GV Prakash Kumar, one of the leading music directors in Tamil film industry, is going to marry singer Saindhavi. A couple of days ago, he announced the news about his marriage that the couple is entering the wedlock by December 2011. According to Prakash, it is a love marriage with the consent of their parents. They were in love with eachother since school days and recently decided to disclose this to the media. GV made his debut in Veyil and later he delivered some good numbers in Kireedam and Angadi Theru.

         He has also composed Rajinikanth starrer movie Kuselan. It is noted that he is a nephew of AR Rahman. Saindhavi is a trained classical singer. She has sung songs in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Her notable songs in Tamil are 'Andankakka' from Anniyan and 'Thanjavoor Jillakkari' from Sura. Interestingly, she has not crooned a single number under GV's direction.

GV Prakash to debut as producer

Music composer GV Prakash is all set to step into the shoes of a producer. He reveales that he would soon float a production house later this month and that he'll be introducing a new director and the script has come out really well.

          The composer had revealed about his new venture in his microblog account tweeting, "Launching my film production company in a week. Will be introducing a new director new cast and crew. Script is superb. Will be a promising batch of youngsters. Looking Forward  G V Prakash is also getting ready to debut as an actor in AR Murugadoss' home production, in which he'll be seen in the role of a musician.

Thalaivaa  is an upcoming Indian Tamil romantic thriller film directed by A.L.Vijay and produced by Chandra Prakash Jain. The film features Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The film's soundtrack and background score will be composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The film is scheduled to release during May 2013.

Production

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Yami Gautam were initially approached for the lead female role. Later Amala Paul was selected. Vijay Yesudaswas reported to be finalized for antagonist role in this film, but he denied it as rumour. Sathyaraj was also selected to be a part of this film. G. V. Prakash Kumar will be the music director while Nirav Shah will crank the camera for this action thriller. R.K. Naguraj has been enrolled as art director.

The pooja of the film was held in Chennai on November 16, 2012. The first schedule began in Mumbai from November 23, 2012. The title songThalaivaa Thalaivaa was shot in Mumbai with 500 junior artists. A major portion of the film will be shot in Spain.

G. V. Prakash Kumar is composing the soundtrack, teaming with A. L. Vijay for the fifth time. He has already composed two songs for the film, featuring lyrics written by Na. Muthukumar. One song has been sung by Vijay alongside with Santhanam in this movie after the grand success of his "Google Google" Song.

Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum marks the return of legendary filmmaker Bharathiraja. The film stars newcomer Lakshman Narayanan along with Karthika Nair in the lead. The film has music by G.V Prakash and the lyrics have been contributed by Vairamuthu, Arivumathi, Egadesi and Gangai Amaran. Bharathiraja also provides commentary in between the songs in his inimitable style.

          Music director GV Prakash is teaming with veteran director Bharathiraja for the first time. It is well-known that the young musician is scoring the music for Bharathiraja’s Anna Kodiyum Kodi Veeranum and the music buffs are looking forward to this album very eagerly because Bharathiraja has a penchant for good music and GV Prakash has the skills to meet his requirements.

          Revealing about the progress of this album, GV Prakash said that he is working on the master copy indicating that he has reached the final stages and is on the verge of completing his work. Looks like the audio launch may happen anytime soon!
