After making music for southern as well as
Hindi films, composer G.V. Prakash is set to make his acting debut with A.R.
Murugadoss's upcoming home production.The venture will be helmed by one of
Murugadoss's assistants.
"Talks are on
with the composer to play the hero because it's a musical subject and the
producer is convinced that he will be apt for the role,"
"The cast and
crew of the untitled film are yet to be disclosed. Once everything is finalised,
an official launch will be made,"
Meanwhile, Prakash,
25 is busy composing tunes for Tamil films "Paradesi",
"Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum" and Anurag Kashyap's upcoming Hindi film
"Ugly".He also composed music for Hindi films "Joker" and
"Gangs of Wasseypur".
This is not the
first time a music composer is turning to acting. Recently, Vijay Anthony made
his acting debut with Tamil film "Naan" and has also signed his
second project.
